Dan Schwartz was a celebrated bass player with 40 years of credits to his name. Dan recorded with Bob Dylan, Sheryl Crow, Michael Jackson, Roseanne Cash, and The Bangles, amongst others. An avid collector, Dan amassed an enormous collection of instruments and recording gear over his lifetime. His tireless pursuit of the perfect sound resulted in highly-specialized modifications to many of his instruments. Dan worked closely with luthier Rick Turner to give his basses a rich, unique sound found nowhere else. Dan passed away in May 2023. His family is currently in the process of finding new stewards for his instruments and gear.
