- SHIPPING POLICY -

Teleos Modular ships all orders over $100 insured and with tracking via the cheapest option (selected from USPS, UPS or FedEx) to the continental United States. although Teleos Modular is a 24/7/365 business, our shipping availability varies from day to day. in most cases, orders placed and paid for Monday through Friday will be shipped on the following business day. most small items ordered within the continental US arrive at their destination within 2-3 business days while larger items usually take 5-7 days to arrive. if you need a package sooner than our standard shipping policy will get it to you, we offer 2-day Priority Shipping via USPS, FedEx, or UPS depending on which offers the most affordable and reliable 2-Day delivery option. 2-day shipping purchases will ship same day if purchased on Monday through Saturday and paid for before 9 AM EST.
PLEASE NOTE: federal and postal holidays do NOT count as business days; for orders placed after 12 PM EST a day before federal/postal holidays, packages may be shipped on the next business day (M-F). this applies to all orders, even those with 2-day shipping. please consider the date and any holidays before placing your order if you need it very quickly.

if you prefer a specific carrier, we can ship via your choice of USPS, FedEx or UPS, or DHL if shipping internationally. buyer is responsible for the additional shipping cost rounded up to the nearest $5 increment (i.e. for an estimated shipping cost of $12.03 you will be charged $15). in some cases we can also accommodate same-day shipping. please contact us before placing an order if you need any special shipping accommodations.

Teleos Modular ships Eurorack modules outside of the continental U.S. via USPS at expense to buyer. the shipping prices are estimates based on average weight and size of modules and are usually accurate within $5. if you would like a more accurate shipping quote, please message us directly or send us an e-mail - we will gladly work with you on a more accurate quote. if you need something shipped via another carrier (DHL, FedEx, etc.) please see our "Alternate Carriers" section above.
PLEASE NOTE: all purchases are indicated as commercial purchases - not gifts, personal items or otherwise. Teleos Modular will not honor requests to falsely represent the value, condition or status of an item for customs, tax, or shipping purposes. any request to do so will be denied and repeated requests will be reported. this is non-negotiable.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.

- RETURN POLICY -

in the case that you experience "buyers' remorse", decide that a purchased item is simply not for you or need a refund more than you need the item we will accept returns if initiated within the return window outlined above. in these cases Teleos Modular will refund you the full price paid for the item minus:
- actual shipping cost - for "free shipping" items, this will be more than $0; we keep all shipping receipts and can provide documentation of the actual shipping cost upon request
- a 15% restocking fee
- any non-refundable fees - depending on the payment method used, this may include Reverb fee and/or PayPal fee
except in cases where items arrive in a condition different from the description/what is shown in the pictures, Teleos Modular will not cover the cost of return shipping. if the returned item was purchased in Brand New condition (i.e. had never been used before), full refunds will only be issued if the item is unopened and unused upon receipt of the return; if the formerly new item has been opened and/or used, an additional 20% use fee will be withheld from any such refunds.
for cancelled pre-orders the purchase may be subject to a lesser 10% order cancellation fee (vs. the standard 15% restocking fee) plus any additional fees that Reverb and/or PayPal opt not to refund.

- AS-IS/AS-DESCRIBED LISTINGS -

if an item is listed "as-is" or "as-described", it is not covered by our standard return policy and returns/refund requests will not be accepted except in the case that the item is damaged during shipping or arrives in a condition different from the item description/pictures.

- MALFUNCTIONING GOODS -

in the case that you receive an item that does not function as described, Teleos Modular will be happy to work with you to investigate the issue and discuss options.
in case of a refund request due to something not working as expected, we will request video demonstration of the issue at hand to aid with problem identification and troubleshooting. this is for both your safety and ours and is in accordance with Reverb guidelines. in the case that we are unable to successfully troubleshoot the issue we will grant permission to return the item for a refund. in order to be eligible for the full refund amount, all accessories, paperwork and packaging must be returned along with the item. any missing elements may reduce the value of your refund.
once we have received the returned item, checked to ensure that all parts, pieces and packaging are included and confirmed the issue is as described, Teleos Modular will reimburse you for the full value of the item plus any associated shipping costs minus any non-refundable fees. however, if the item is fully functional on arrival (i.e. we are unable to reproduce the issues described/depicted or the issues are determined to be the result of user error), you will not be reimbursed for shipping costs but you will have the option to receive a refund for the full value of the item minus any non-refundable fees and a 15% restocking fee or to pay for return shipping to have the item sent back to you.

Teleos Modular is primarily a reseller of used goods. in order to keep costs as low as possible, our staff is extremely limited in number (one and a half employees, to be exact). in support of our goal to provide high-quality used goods at low prices, we perform full hardware tests to ensure that the devices function properly. before listing an item, all knobs, sliders, buttons and jacks are tested to confirm that they work. we also perform a quick visual analysis of all items that pass through our shop, checking for scuffs, scratches, dings and bent parts.
while we do our best to describe all items as accurately as possible and in as much detail as we believe necessary for every item that we acquire, we do not have the time to spend hours thoroughly researching and testing every single feature of every single device. as such, it is possible that small aesthetic and tactile variations may escape our attention - slight scuffs, scratches, and discolorations; variations in the feel of knobs, sliders and jacks; small tears or dings in original boxes and packaging. for all listings, minuscule variations and deviations from the listing are to be expected; that said, the images always show the exact device being sold and if we've noticed any visible issues we will post detailed pictures. in addition, if you have questions or doubts as to the quality, condition or feel of an item, please ask them before buying; we will be happy to provide additional images or even a video demonstrating the item's functionality (be aware, these requests may add a day or two to our shipping times).
once an item is shipped, we will not cover costs associated with returns based solely on minor deviations from the description. for example, if an item is described as "with minor rack rash" and you believe it to have "slightly worse than minor rack rash", unless there is an objective way to measure the difference between such descriptions, returns will not be accepted. the images will ALWAYS show the item being sold, so please review them carefully before making a purchase if you have any doubts about the aesthetic condition of an item.
in addition, due to deviations in the manufacturing process of many items (a factor over which we have no control), items may feel slightly different than another instance of the same item. for example, if you buy a pair of Mutable Instruments Ripples filter modules, there is a chance the knobs and jacks will not feel identical to each other; this is a normal result of the manufacturing process and in no way something we can control. as long as the item functions properly (i.e. the cutoff knob adjusts the filter cutoff across the expected range, the jacks work as expected) we cannot be responsible for covering costs associated with returns requested based on such situations. however, these items are still eligible for our standard return policy.
in all cases, dramatic deviations from the listings (i.e. items listed as "mint" that show up covered in scuffs and scratches not shown in the pictures or items listed as functional that show up non-working) are NOT normal and are covered by our standard or non-functional item return policy.
