StoryWood Music designs and builds boutique custom electric guitars and basses using 100% reclaimed or salvaged wood that has a history - a story - to pass along.
We’ve made guitars with wood reclaimed from the Duke Ellington School of the Arts in DC, the American Tobacco Company warehouses in NC, and many other places. These have all been incredible instruments - the 100 year old wood we’ve chosen makes outstanding guitars, and each instrument is unique.
We have committed to using 100% reclaimed and salvaged wood in StoryWood guitars - body AND neck. The wood is a century old in most cases, allowing us to essentially build new-vintage instruments. We feel this is the only way to do it, and the results speak for themselves.
