I love and deal with unusual musical instruments, mainly guitar related but not exclusively. I have been on that OTHER bidding website for over 20 years buying and selling with very high feedback rating. If you have doubts, I will be happy to tell you what is my nick over there.
All duties to be paid upon importing bought items are the sole responsibility of the buyer, as well as making sure that the wood species involved in some items are allowed entry in your country. I do not have any CITES paper but I will tell you all I know of items listed to help you gather the most up to date information with your authorities.
I have beenusing UPS for shipping instruments for over 20 years. I will more than likely dump UPS due to outrageously high shipping costs compared to the competition and their recent inpetitude, as in the last 3 years. If you have a favorite company to deal with in that regard, I am open to your suggestions.
