My name is Dani Joy. My partner Perry Stauffer and I are ukulele artists who proudly endorses Romero Creations and Ohana Ukuleles. We love these companies and the people who run them. Pepe Romero Jr. is the CEO of Romero Creations and head luthier/designer of these magnificent instruments. Pepe is an innovator, craftsman and wholesome-spirited person. Louis Wu and his son Chris are the creative minds behind Ohana Ukuleles, a wholesome company also based in southern California who produce an incredible line of budget friendly instruments, our favorites for the price point.

About Dani
Dani Joy has been described as "What would happen if Norah Jones became a Disney princess."
She is a performing musical artist of Romero Creations who is best known for her ability to weave her crooning alto vocals together with complex Campanella fingerpicking accompaniment through original music.
Soon after graduating from the Rhode Island School of Design (Illustration 2010), her Dad Stu Herreid gave her a ukulele, opening an unexplored world of jazz, songwriting, music theory and endless possibilities on four simple strings. For nearly a decade she has been entrancing audiences across the globe, inviting them in with her velvet vocals and compassionate style of teaching. She has just finished her newest project, an album of original songs in partnership with world-music artist Daniel Ho, titled “Drop In My Flower”.
About Perry Stauffer
Perry Stauffer is a multi-instrumentalist and co-founder of Starlight Ukulele Academy. Perry has been studying, teaching and performing music since age five. He is particularly inspired by American roots music (blues, jazz, swing, country, etc.) and loves to teach these styles. Perry has recently relocated to Portland, OR to pursue a career in musical education with partner, Dani Joy.
