Hello, my name is Mark. Welcome to my shop. I specialize in modifications and sales of Marshall JCM2000 DSL 100Watt tube amps exclusively. I started Sonic Mods back in 2016. I am an old-school metal head with some electronic/engineering experience, that's always had an extreme love and passion for tube amps. I've owned and played through many killer amps. My influences on guitar range from Santana, David Gilmore, Roger Fisher, Ted Nugent, Jimmy Page, to Tony Lommi, Eddie Van Halen, Glenn Tipton, Dave Murray, Michael Schenker, Kerry King. I know good tone. I put my heart and soul into my mods. I knew that the JCM2000 had way more potential and could breath fire with some added touches. It was what I wanted, had 2 channels, effects loop, and that one of a kind Marshall tone that just needed something more. My Sonic Mods include: completely eliminating any potential bias drift, upgraded effects loop, way better tone and response in both clean and gain channels. Clean channel is more pronounced, beautiful and has warmer tones. Gain channel kicks ass, more crunch, tighter bottom end, notes are more articulate, creamy to searing highs, cuts through the mix better. Upgraded reverb tank, better ventilation and my Sonic Mods signature look. My mods are definitely geared towards my fellow metal heads. I am endorsed by Guitarmory Pickups.
