My name is Terry Shaw and I've been playing and performing many types of music on guitar, bass, banjo, fiddle, mandolin, and keyboards for over fifty years--yes, I'm OLD. In the 70s and 80s I worked at Monte Vista Guitar Shop in Tacoma WA where we carried most of the major brands. Besides sales I also became the on site set-up and repair guy and on my day off taught lessons. After fifteen years at that gig I went more into teaching and performing and also began a recording studio. I became a serious collector and continued to do setup and repair for a select group of customers as well as on my own instruments. Fifteen years ago I moved to Price, Utah where I continue to teach, perform, record, collect, set up, repair, and sell instruments. As both a player and a stringed instrument technician every instrument must meet my exact standards before it gets shipped to a customer. Since I am a one-man operation my LOW OVERHEAD (good name for a band) means my prices are low. Also my shipping charges are honest.
