RISING STAR GUITARS INSTRUMENTS ARE UNIQUELY DESIGNED AND ONE-OF-A-KIND CREATIONS, whether electric guitars or cigar box guitars, individually crafted by Neil Laurent. Neil is a life-long player and former guitar store owner, who is now creating individually designed instruments, with you, the player, in mind. All these instruments are conceived in his shop in Vermont, custom designed and crafted (i.e. not factory finished), hand wired, and each with their own distinctive design details, including the our signature rising stars applied on the head stock. As a native of East Hartford, CT, Neil's first music store and repair shop was in Norway, ME in the early '70s when life as a "hippie" was at its peak..... and he played the circuit from Maine to Boston. From there he moved to New York City to seek fame and fortune..... and became a carpenter! He continued to perform in original bands. Upon his move back to New England in 2006, his dream was reignited and he started Bear Hollow Vintage Guitars..... and now retired from the intense demands of retail - he is concentrating on designing unique custom crafted electric guitars and cigar box guitars, many with unique designs, and rebuilding, repairing, and refurbishing instruments in his home repair shop. Shipping Policy
All orders over $500.00 WILL NOT SHIP without prior messaging with the purchaser.
Shipping of 6-string electric guitars is $70.00 (no case) or as noted in specialty guitars -- 6-string acoustic guitars is $70.00 (no case) ---4-string cigar box guitars is $60.00( no case) - Lap Steel guitars is $60.00 (no case)- Super Six Custom 6 string is $70.00 (no case)- any pedal is $15.00 - to the lower-48 states (continental US - ONLY). Item purchased will ship out within 24 hours, weather permitting (two BUSINESS days - Items can not be shipped on the weekend or federal holidays). PLEASE NOTE: EXCEPTION TO THIS IS WEATHER CONDITIONS - SNOW, ICE, FLOODING ETC. FEDEX Ground will be used and a tracking number will be provided to you. Should you wish to ship to either Hawaii or Alaska - please contact us to determine the additional cost for these regions. Package will be insured for the stated value of the item.
A signature will be required at delivery - this is for your protection as well as ours.
We pack our items carefully - If you receive your item and there seems to be a shipping damage, please contact us immediately at 802-359-3609. If there is damage - please keep ALL packing materials - including the box and internal packing materials, as this would be part of a claim against the shipper.
