Wayne Vallis, owner and sole proprietor of ProSpec Strings launched the website in October of 2016 after he learned that his employment at one of Canada’s largest and longest standing wholesale distributors of professional audio and musical instruments was coming to an end. After over 40 years in business the owner decided that it was time to retire.

Wayne who spent an equal amount of time working in both retail and wholesale establishments in the industry saw an opportunity and jumped in. Starting with only a few lines ProSpec Strings has now grown their line card to over 30 high end unique products setting them apart from the rest specializing in stringed instrument accessories. ProSpec also imports directly from countries such as Germany and The Netherlands.

ProSpec has also broken ground in Canada becoming the first on-line only business to be accepted in a very competitive market where only brick and mortar stores were the rule ProSpec has been the exception.

ProSpec brings credibility and professionalism to the on-line world. We also offer high end specific products for the musician who needs the best.
