Shipping fees to ALL OTHER LOCATIONS will be calculated individually and added to customer invoices. Local duties, taxes and charges are not included in the sale price or ship charges. ProAudioStar is not responsible for any taxes outside of NY and or the USA. In the event that the customer refuses a shipment, all shipping costs to and from the country or State in which the item was shipped to are not refunded. Please note, in some cases return shipping can cost as much as double the original ship cost.

Conditions particulières
All brand-new items purchased from ProAudioStar come with a full manufacturer’s warranty. For details regarding the terms and conditions of product warranties, please reach out to the manufacturer directly. Additionally, some B-stock, used, and open box items include either a limited or full manufacturer warranty.
HOLIDAY RETURNS
Orders placed on or after November 17, 2025 and delivered on or before December 9, 2025 qualify for an extended return period through January 9, 2026.
All other terms of the return policy remain unchanged.
Orders placed before November 17, 2025 or delivered after December 9, 2025 will follow the standard return window.
Most items are returnable for a refund or replacement within 35 days of delivery. Items must be returned in the same condition that they were shipped. This includes all original packaging, accessories, and documentation. After 35 days, ProAudioStar cannot accept the return of an item. Warranty options outlined above would still apply.
ITEMS THAT CAN NOT BE RETURNED INCLUDE:
* Software
* Items that are in a different condition than they were delivered (missing contents, modifications, disassembly, missing accessories, documentation, and/or damaged packaging)
* Items that are considered for “personal use” (headphones, in-ear monitors, vocal microphones, instrument mouthpieces, harmonicas, etc.)
* Special Orders
* Discontinued products
* Close-out sales.
ProAudioStar must be notified of any damage sustained to your order within 24 hours of delivery. Detailed photos of the following are required for our records and to be able to process a resolution:
* All sides of the package in question, with a focus on any portion showing clear signs of damage,
* All interior packaging/padding, with a focus on any portion showing clear signs of damage,
* The shipping label on the package clearly shows all the address and tracking number information.
* Damage to the product in question, with a focus on any serial number information printed on the item (if applicable),
* If available, any photo or video evidence of mishandling at delivery.
* Video of defects or damage may be required depending on the situation.
Refusal to provide photographs or video upon request will result in your return being deemed “discretionary,” and fees will be applied accordingly.
Items that are not returned in the condition they were delivered are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Items returned for discretionary reasons (i.e., buyer's remorse, wrong item purchased, the product didn’t work for the customer’s needs, etc.) may also be subject to a restocking fee of up to 15%. ProAudioStar reserves the right to deduct the total cost of shipping your order and the subsequent return from the refund. Items that do not have the original packaging cannot be accepted for return.
The cost of shipping will be deducted from returns on all items that are undeliverable and/or are returned to the sender. Tracking information is provided for every order shipped. Please ensure that you are able to receive your order, as many will come with a signature required for delivery. ProAudioStar or Shipping Carriers are not responsible for a failure to receive a package.
All specialty instruments shipped directly from our Brooklyn Showroom will be subject to a $50 shipping cost deduction and a 2% restocking fee unless verified as defective or damaged. Proper vetting of defects or damage may warrant detailed explanations, photographic, or video documentation. Refusal to provide photographs or video upon request will result in your return being deemed “discretionary,” and fees will be applied accordingly.
We strongly recommend that you check your order after receiving it to be sure that it is in proper working order. We also recommend performing a standard setup for any instrument that has been shipped. Shipping conditions, such as climate or temperature change, can affect the playability upon receipt. This does not mean the instrument is damaged or defective. Performing regular setups is a standard part of instrument ownership and maintenance.
