I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old.....so I've been playing for over 60 years now. I've always enjoyed accumulating guitars and equipment. I got into some repairing (minor to mid-level repairs) about 25 years ago, and enjoy bringing vintage instruments that have been neglected or damaged back to life....doing what they were intended to do. If I can find a unique vintage guitar, get it playing well again, and put it into someone's hands who will play and appreciate it, then I'm happy. Not trying to make a living doing this........but try to break even at the end of each year. I am NOT a brick and mortar music store, don't have their overhead and staff, just a guitar enthusiast with a passion for decent quality vintage instruments. I don't have a boss to answer to, so I can spend some time with you discussing an instrument or your interests and playing style. I'm into Jumbo acoustic guitars and my main go-to guitar is a vintage 1968 Standel (Harptone made) Lark L-4N, which has been changed into a single-cutaway. Also find myself playing playing my Parker P8N and PA-24 acoustics a lot. For electrics, I gravitate to my highly modified Gibson Midtown. My main amps include a Fender Super-reverb (blackfaced), some boutique and vintage tube amps (modified), and a Gibson Mercury Head (highly modified) through a vintage twin 12" cab (w/ Celestion Vintage 30 speakers).
