With 25 years of experience playing guitar—and a lifelong habit of picking up just about any instrument I can get my hands on—I understand that the right piece of gear is more than a purchase. It can spark a new sound, solve a frustrating problem, or become part of your musical story.

My education at Dark Horse Institute in 2012 deepened a lifelong passion for audio engineering, especially where great sound begins: at the fundamental equipment and signal-chain level. From choosing the right cable to pairing instruments, microphones, interfaces, amplifiers, and studio equipment, I’m genuinely fascinated by how every connection and component contributes to the final result. The glamorous gear may get the attention, but the fundamentals are what make everything work—and I love getting those details right.

Combined with years of relevant business experience, that knowledge shapes the standards behind this shop: carefully selected equipment, honest descriptions, fair dealings, thoughtful packaging, clear communication, and respect for every customer and every instrument.

This company means a great deal to me. It’s the culmination of decades spent playing, listening, learning, and building toward something of my own. Every item is chosen and represented with care because I’m not interested in simply moving gear. I want musicians, engineers, and creators to feel confident about what they’re buying—and excited about what it will help them create.
