Megatone Music is a full service musical instrument retailer with a brick and mortar store as well as an online store. We carry new and used guitars, amps, effects, and accessories by top manufacturers like PRS, Gibson, Epiphone, Fender, Yamaha, Guild, Takamine, Marshall, Vox, Swart Amplification, Blackstar, Strymon, Zvex, JHS Pedals, Pete Cornish, Souldier Straps, D'Addario, Dunlop, Ernie Ball, Electro-Harmonix Effects, and the list goes on. We also have in-house repair shop and provide music lessons for out community.
Our mission is to help the pro, novice and beginning musicians find the right instrument that will help them on their musical journey. We want to bring inspiration and guidance no matter your level of playing. We provide personal service and really want to get to know our customers as friends and fellow musicians. In the end, it's all about the music.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
Buyer is responsible for shipping charges back to our store as well as shipping charges we incurred shipping the product at our expense. If you feel the need to return an item, it must be in new, resalable condition. Resalable Condition means that the product(s) is in exactly the same condition as it was when you received it. The item must have all the original packaging, included accessories, owner’s manuals and blank warrantee card, no signs of wear or abuse to the product or the box. All returned items will be charged a 10% restocking fee. In the event that the product has damage, scratches, dings and/or blemishes we cannot accept a return and you will need to contact a shipper or carrier to have the item returned back to you. If the returned item is damaged by the shipper and you paid the shipping. You will need contact the shipper and file a claim. It is always best to pay for the insurance on any product you are returning.
When repacking the item to be shipped back to us in the same packaging, please avoid using duct tape or other adhesives on the actual packaging. This can leave a residue, If the item(s) were double boxed please ship it back to us double boxed. Freight charges for exchanges and returns must be pre-paid by the customer. Again, it is a best policy to pay for insurance incase of damage by the shipper or carrier. Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable.
Defective Merchandise
If an item is defective or malfunctioning we will issue you a pre-paid shipping label. However if the item turns out not to be defective upon inspection and it falls within the 14 day return policy we will have to deduct the cost of shipping from your refund and charge a 15% restocking fee. If the item falls after the 14 day return policy, we cannot accept the return and will either refuse the package and send it back or it will be your responsibility to have the item returned to you.
What isn't covered under returns
What is not covered by this return policy: used, special orders, discounted products, guitar picks, sheet music, clothing, books, strings, computer hardware/software, drum heads, drum sticks, harmonicas, mouthpieces, sound cards, microphones, speakers, studio furniture, headphones or earphones.
Used Gear
We do not accept returns on used gear. If the product arrives to you damaged we will, of course, accept a return and provide you with a shipping label. However you will need to help us when we file a claim with the carrier. Sometimes they need pictures of the box as well as do an inspection. All products are shipped tested. We will not send out a defective piece of gear. So if you claim an item is defective and we receive the item in good working condition, we will not provide a refund and it will be your responsibility to have the item returned to you.
Please note on items 75 lbs. please contact us for rates. Usually these items will be shipped by a freight carrier and will be charged an oversize shipping fee.
