The Kendall Conservatory of Music was established in 1972 by Joe and Earline Yeargin and was eventually purchased by Carlos Avila, an employee of 17 years.
In its current size, the business employs an average of 15-20 teachers instructing hundreds of students a week. In addition to private music lessons, students can gain performing and ensemble experience in a variety of genres. Master classes are offered regularly featuring local, national, and international artists playing their trade.
Other services offered include in-store repairs (while you wait) of instruments and equipment and repairs done by long-established professional technicians that pick-up, repair, and deliver all work.
Instrument rentals are offered through the Kendall Conservatory via national partners (like Veritas Instrument Rental Inc) that offer rental services at price points that allow you to be able to rent-to-own instruments which can be cost prohibitive for most.
