- Performance Enhancing Guitarworks - This has been my tagline for some time now. I have been doing repair work since 2007 when I retired from the Coast Guard as an Industrial Engineer. This is work I truly love to do. People who know me remark about the passion I exude while discussing guitars in general. I only wish I could make a solid living out of doing this.

I create Tele & Strat style guitars made from licensed by Fender® products such as Warmoth, Allparts, USAGC, Musikraft. These creations get my headstock logo. I will not remove a logo from a Fender® product, instead I will apply my smaller 'Treatment By' logo on the reverse side of the headstock. I have considered creating my own headstock design and breaking out big-time... but honestly I have not been able to come up with a design that I don't cringe at. Plus, nothing is as cool as the original headstock shapes of the Tele & Strat.

I also do repair & restoration work, but have not acquired the adequate skillset yet to do complete fret jobs. I can do it and I do excellent work, but I don't feel I'm ready enough to call it a business line.
I will not attempt a sunburst finish, or anything other than opaque coating. Again, that's not my forte - the best bang for the buck you'll get from me is setup & neck work (level, crown, polish) - that's what I'm recognised for in this community.
