The Guitar Hangar was founded in October of 1999. After running another music store for a number of years, it occurred to owner Rick Tedesco that he was working really hard to make someone else successful. He struck out to open his own shop and thus, the Hangar was born!
Guitar Hangar is more than just guitars! We carry a huge variety of instruments and accessories: acoustic and electric guitar, bass, amps, effects pedals, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, slide guitar, and more! We buy and consign used gear, so we never really know what's about to walk in the door.
Guitar Hangar isn’t like those other big-box corporate music stores. Since 1999, Guitar Hangar has been providing rare, vintage, and custom instruments to clients all over the world. Rick and the rest of the Guitar Hangar crew are never too busy to answer your questions, solve your problems, or hunt down the perfect piece of gear just for you. Simply put, we want to give you the right gear, for the right price, on time, every time.

New Items
Returnable within 7 days of delivery.
Used & Vintage Items

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
Any item sold at a negotiated price is considered a final sale, no returns.
You can return your purchase from The Guitar Hangar in its original condition for an exchange up to 7 Days from receipt of merchandise. It must be insured for the full value and all paperwork, hang tags original boxes etc... must be returned intact. There are no cash or credit card refunds. Special Orders, Pre orders, layaways, consignments, guitars sold below asking price at offered prices and final sale items are non cancelable and non returnable. Shipping, credit card or paypal fees and deposits for special orders or layaways are non refundable. Any shipping damage must be filed with the carrier within 24hrs of receipt of the merchandise and dealt with in accordance with their policies. All returns must be arranged in advance with the Guitar Hangar and given a return authorization number. Any return after 7 days is subject to a 25% restocking fee or may be refused depending on the situation. The Guitar Hangar is not responsible for typographical errors posted on the website.
