Greytones Analog is a two man team, made up of a Father and Son that have a passion for effects pedals.
The initial concept came about in 2006, but it was around 2015 before the first pedal was built. This was an unreleased, heavily modified version of the Matsumin Valvecaster that was built specifically for bass players. There have been many concepts built since then. The first production release came out in 2020 as the Greyfuzz fuzz pedal, More of the concept pedals will be released soon.
At Greytones Analog, we build small batch effects pedals. Primarily for the bass player, our pedals are also built to make the guitar player happy. We hand build each pedal. Our flagship models feature professionally printed circuit boards, our custom models are built on perf board. Our boards are hand populated and soldered. Each pedal housing is hand drilled. We take time and pride in each pedal that we build.
