I'm a musician, guitar tech and sound engineer that has been buying and selling gear online through various forums, Craigslist and eBay (with over 4000 positive feedback) since 1998. I specialize in customizing and upgrading guitars. As a result I usually sell leftover gear and parts from various projects I have worked on or no longer need. Since this is a general obsession of mine and I'm constantly working on and rotating instruments, it's a pretty safe bet that I'm usually only selling the types of guitars and gear that I love.

When I sell a complete guitar it will generally include upgrades and/or accessories that not only make them unique but also take them beyond, improving on the stock factory specs. While I generally like to stay true to the soul of an instrument in general look and specs, I am in no way a purist and have absolutely no problem changing and updating components on a guitar if it is a weak point or there are better options available (i.e., using compensated saddles, staggered tuners, high mass bridges, treble bleed circuits, etc.). I'm also a big fan of updating the look of a guitar while keeping it tasteful as if it came from the factory that way, but unique in that those color options were not available (like a pickguard or knobs/cover trim color). Not to say I don't love "collecting" guitars, but whether the guitar is vintage, modern or reissued, I believe they're all meant to be played in their best form and with the best components available.
