I am a luthier with more than 40 yrs experience. I apprenticed under Michael Dolan and John Knutson in Sonoma County, California and worked for Alembic in Santa Rosa for awhile after graduating and subsequently for various music stores in the SF Bay area before eventually moving to Oregon. Long story short, I keep my eyes out for instruments that are of good quality but need some improvements to get them up to speed, and are priced as to make it worth my while and when I am finished a buyer can have a better-than-new instrument at a lower cost than a new or used one that needs work.

I have also delved into building tube amps and cabinets on occasion that I sell.

I also have many surplus new and used guitar parts, amp parts, and effects parts that I sell from time to time.

A note regarding the Supreme Court of the United States SOUTH DAKOTA v. WAYFAIR, INC., ET AL. decision which allows your state to collect sales tax from you on your online purchase from me in Oregon which has no sales tax: fight back by passing a law in your state that will not require this to happen. It is that simple. Elect representatives that will make this happen or put an initiative on your state ballot that you the people can vote on. Do not continue to elect politicians that wish to take more of your money. Do elect representatives that want to allow more free enterprise and not punish you for getting a good deal on merchandise. The Supreme Court decision can be interpreted this way: "If your state where you reside wants to punish you and extract money from you for a transaction you engaged in with a resident from another state, they can do it and the United States will not interfere". So if you, a citizen of your state, want to change this then it is up to you and your fellow citizens to change your state's law. May God help you and help us all.
