Each finish is made with passion, blending artistic techniques like metallic leaf, oil painting, and freehand drawing with timeless nitro relic finishes inspired by true vintage instruments.
Every Franchin guitar is born from a handcrafted process: from selecting the finest woods to the finish, all the way to hand-winding each individual pickup and performing the final setup.
Every detail is important: the relic is made by hand on every single component, even the screws. Yes, even the ones you can’t see.

Our guitars should look good — sure — but first and foremost, they have to sound great. Because a Franchin guitar isn’t meant to hang on a wall. It’s meant to be played, worn, loved — forever.
THE ORIGINS
In 2016, Mattia Franchin founded Franchin Guitars, a project born at the crossroads of his great passions, art and music.
Educated in art himself, Mattia surrounded himself by artists from the Venice Academy of Fine Arts and expert luthiers. This unique combination of artistic and technical skills allows Franchin Guitars to stand apart in the musical instruments landscape.
From the very beginning, the brand became renowned for its refined metallic leaf finishes, a distinctive signature that still defines Franchin Guitars today, giving these instruments an exclusive and unmistakable character.
EXCELLENT MATERIALS AND ARTISANAL CRAFTSMANSHIP: THE HEART OF OUR GUITARS
We craft each instrument by hand, one at a time, in our workshop in Monticello Conte Otto, near Vicenza, Italy.
We use only premium tonewoods, carefully selected for their acoustic qualities and natural beauty, combined with top-grade components to ensure a pure, deep, and richly-nuanced sound with flawless playability.
Our bodies and necks are CNC-cut for millimetric precision and perfect compatibility with all standard accessories. We use high-quality varnishes specifically designed for lutherie to enhance the natural resonance of the wood.
Our relic finishes draw inspiration from the finest vintage instruments, achieving a realistic and authentic look.
Each pickup is handmade by our luthier Marco Ferrari, fully hand-wound to vintage specifications or custom-tailored to the player’s needs.

Shipping Policy
Goods are shipped with tracked shipping via DHL, UPS or SDA couriers.
We offer free worldwide shipping for orders over € 2,500.00.
We are not responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, customs taxes, etc. required by your country for importing goods. We cannot give you an estimate of the cost, as charges vary from country to country.
Our package are not insured. We are not responsible for any loss o damage to the package by the courier. If you wish, you can request us to insure your package at an additional cost.
In-stock items will be shipped within three (3) business days after payment has been received.
Made-to-order items will be dispatched within five (5) business days from the date of completion, provided that complete payment has been received. Once your made-to-order item is completed, we’ll send you pictures of it, so you can approve it before shipping. If we do not receive any answer from you after thirty (30) calendar days, we will ship your item as pictured, provided that complete payment has been received. If we have not received complete payment, instead, the item will be retained for another thirty (30) calendar days; if we still do not receive any answer and the payment is not completed within this timeframe, the item will be put up for sale and we will not refund you the amount paid.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.

DELIVERY
We ship worldwide with tracked shipping via DHL, UPS, SDA, BRT or TNT couriers.
Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout. We offer free worldwide shipping for orders of EUR 3,000.00 or more.

ORDER CANCELLATION
For in-stock items (ready to be shipped), you have two (2) hours to inform us that you changed your mind about your purchase. If you notify us within this timeframe, we will refund your payment in full, that is, including shipping costs, but minus any PayPal or bank fees that we were charged in the original transaction (as these are not refunded to us).
For made-to-order items, you have fourteen (14) calendar days to inform us of your decision to cancel your order. For made-to-order items with Express building option, you have a twenty-four (24) hours time, instead. If you notify us within this timeframe, we will refund your payment in full, minus any PayPal fess or bank transfer commissions that we were charged. Once this timeframe has passed, we may have already started the building process, and for this reason we will retain 50% of the total amount of your order for the inconvenience caused.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF RETURN
We aim to guarantee your full satisfaction. If you have purchased an in-stock item (ready for shipping) and you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you have thirty (30) calendar days to return it from the date you received it.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition in which you received it (i.e., unaltered and free of damages); it must be returned in the original packaging, complete with any accessories sent together with it.
Return shipping costs are at your expense. The cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Made-to-order items cannot be returned, as they are built to your specifications and are shipped after you have approved them.
HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM
Returns must be sent with the courier indicated by us, and only after you contacted us. It is mandatory that you follow our instructions, otherwise we might retain an amount from your refund. The item to be returned must be picked up by the courier within five (5) business days from the date when you informed us of your decision to return it.
REFUNDS IN CASE OF RETURN
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your PayPal or bank account within five (5) business days. We will refund the cost of the item, retaining shipping costs (original and return). Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you paid via PayPal, we will also retain from your refund any PayPal fees that we were charged in the original transaction. If the refund is issued by bank transfer, we will retain the cost of bank transfer commisions.
You will be notified if the returned item cannot be accepted due to failure to comply with our returns conditions set out above. In this case, you may choose to have the item returned to you at your own expense. If you refuse this delivery, we reserve the right to retain the item and the amount paid for your purchase.
