Delivery Responsibility:
If the buyer is not present at the delivery address and the courier marks the package as “Delivered,” responsibility for the package transfers to the buyer.
This includes packages left at the door, in a mailbox, with a neighbor, or at any location deemed secure by the courier.
Loss or theft after delivery is not the seller’s responsibility.
Import Duties & Refused Delivery:
Buyers outside the UK are responsible for any applicable import taxes, VAT, duties, or customs fees.
If a shipment is refused or returned due to unpaid duties or refusal to accept delivery, the buyer is responsible for:
Both outbound and return shipping costs
A 5% restocking fee deducted from the refund total
Signature Requirement (if applicable):
High-value items may be shipped with signature on delivery. If the buyer declines this service or is unavailable to sign, all risk transfers upon the first delivery attempt.
Incorrect Address / Unclaimed Packages:
Packages returned due to incorrect address or failure to collect from a pickup point within the courier’s holding period will be treated as a refused delivery.
Insurance Claims:
In the unlikely event of damage or loss in transit (before delivery is confirmed), buyer must cooperate fully with any insurance or courier investigation, including providing photos, written statements, or documentation if requested.
