I have been building and repairing stringed instruments for over 50 years. All of my instruments have very low action and good intonation - I level the frets to +/=.002" or better and go from there. I specialize in vintage instruments - especially parlor guitars. They are like people to me - they come here old, broken, with many signs of abuse and lots of character. I make them sound and play better than new - because I take the time to properly set them up - I treat them with respect and they play better that thay ever have in their long lives. They are sort of re-born into the instruments they could have been. They end up making someone very happy. Below is a link to a video of a typical restoration. I also play and have many youtube hits.
