Founded in 1974 by Brian Fischer, Ear Craft Music has long been an integral part of the New Hampshire music store and seacoast area music scene with a customer loyalty that can only be garnered through years of quality service.
Our sales staff carries a combined fifty plus years of music retail experience , with particularly deep knowledge in the areas of sound reinforcement, lighting, MIDI, digital recording, vintage, percussion, electric and acoustic guitar, and brass and woodwind. Discriminating musicians from all across New England travel to Dover for our quality instruments, confident both that a wide selection is always in stock, and that they are all set up well and playing great. We specialize in used gear, especially vintage and rare, curious items not seen in your average music store.

Sound System Rentals
Not ready to buy yet? Don’t have that sound system to play the big outdoor gig? We have what you need to get you going. Ear Craft rents all band instruments, allowing you to try before you buy. We also rent everything from mics, speakers, and mixers to complete sound systems.
Instrument Lessons
Guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, voice, saxophone, trumpet, violin, flute, clarinet, trombone. All lessons are conducted in one of our 10 private lesson rooms by expert instructors. Shipping Policy

Return Policy
New Items
Returnable within 7 days of delivery.
Used & Vintage Items
Returnable within 3 days of delivery.
General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
Special Conditions
All returns must be authorized by Ear Craft Music prior to sending. Ear Craft Music can accept returns on Used & Vintage Items within 3 days of buyer receiving item. Brand New Items can be returned within 7 days of buyer's receipt.
Buyer is responsible for the payment of send and return shipping. Return must be shipped in the same packaging as was sent, so please open items with care.
In the event that an item has been damaged in shipment, please take photos of the packing materials and item and inform our store immediately. We will begin the process of a damage claim with the shipping company, who will take the item into custody to assess the damage. After the shipping company has received the item, we can being the refund process. We always take extra measures to ship items safely, but incidents do occur.
