Distinguished Guitars ist aus der Suche nach einem neuen, alten Hobby entstanden. Meine Idee war es, nachdem die Familie zu Bett gegangen ist, den Fernseher wieder durch etwas Sinnvolleres zu ersetzen und wieder zu Gitarre zu greifen. Eine E-Gitarre musste her, da man diese ja über einen Kopfhörer spielen konnte, ohne den Schlaf der Liebsten zu stören. Auf der Recherche nach einer passenden Gitarre wurde ich im Musikhaus Hermann fündig und es dauerte nicht mehr lange, bis ich meine erste Gibson Gitarre aus dem Custom Shop voller Freude begrüßen konnte.
Angesteckt von der Leidenschaft Jörg Hermanns fing ich an, mich mehr und mehr mit dem Thema zu beschäftigen und es verging nicht viel Zeit, da kam eine Fender Stratocaster – von John Cruz - gefertigt hinzu. Die Intervalle wurden kürzer und es kam die erste PRS Private Stock Gitarre ins Haus und von diesem Moment war klar: Ja, ich bin infiziert und ich will noch viel mehr mit diesem Thema zu tun haben. Hier war es das Gesamtpaket, das mich faszinierte und definitiv in einer anderen Liga spielte: die Decke, die Verarbeitung, die Präzision, die Haptik, der noch fettere Klang! Es war einfach ein tolles Erlebnis meine erste PRS Private Stock Gitarre in den Händen zu halten und sie zu betrachten.
Vielleicht ist es Pragmatismus, aber aus der Sammelleidenschaft wurde nun mehr. Etwas Zeit ist vergangen und ich freue mich sehr heute mit PRS Gitarren handeln zu können. Zum Leben wird es nicht reichen, sagt die Familie. Stimmt, denn hier steht immer noch das Hobby und die Freude an PRS Gitarren im Vordergrund und es fällt mir stets sehr schwer mich von dem einen oder anderen PRS Modell, welches mit viel Liebe, in Detailarbeit ausgesucht wurde zu trennen. Mittelfristig werde ich die PRS Modelle bei Distinguished Guitars immer exklusiver und rarer auswählen und ich freue mich schon heute darauf der Erste und bis dato Einzige PRS Private Stock Collection Series Händler Deutschlands sowie auf dem europäischen Festland zu sein.
