Shipping Policy


How much is shipping?
To keep things easy and to avoid surprise extra costs, we don’t charge shipping or handling on orders over $99 (before tax ). This applies only to Canadian addresses. To keep things even easier, orders under $99 have a flat shipping fee. So feel free to bump your order above $99 and save!

Where do we ship?
Our web purchasing is integrated with Canada Post, Purolator, and UPS so we can ship virtually to any residence or business in Canada.

When will I get my order?
Once an item is picked, packed, and shipped from our door, delivery times of between 1 to 8 business days can be expected depending on shipment location and carrier. We have the largest in-stock offering in the country and only offer items for purchase that we know we can ship to you quickly. On the rare occasion where there is a quality issue or we have oversold our stock because of time delays in our processes, we will email you to confirm whether you wish to wait for the back ordered item, wish to purchase a similar item, or would prefer a refund.

What if there is a problem with my delivery?
Please call or email us and we'll be sure to resolve the issue.

Haven't received your order?
If you haven’t received your order in the expected time frame please contact us.

Wrong or missing items?
Your order may have been packaged in multiple boxes; refer to the packing slip and order tracking to verify you don't have any outstanding shipping pieces. Please contact us should your order not be correct.

Damaged items?
If you notice visible damage to your package refuse the shipment (don't sign for it) and contact us. If you notice damage after accepting and opening your package contact us right away.



Shipping depends on location.

Items shipping to the U.S. are handled by UPS.

Shipments to the U.S. might incur customs or brokerage fees which will the responsibility of the buyer.

Items over $2500 may require additional verification to process shipment.

General Terms

Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.

Special Conditions

In spite of all the precautions taken by manufacturers, few instruments are ready to be sold right out of the box. You can take peace of mind knowing that every stringed, brass and woodwind instrument has been unboxed, set-up and tested by a professionally trained technician. This is a timely process that is not undertaken by our competitors, and how we are able to guarantee excellent playing condition. See // for more details.

Cosmo Music will exchange or return for full refund items purchased within 30 days if in un-used new condition and in original packaging. See for complete details.

You may return for full refund items within 30 days if in unused new condition and in original packaging (100% Satisfaction Guarantee).

Some exceptions apply, which typically include shipping charges, health reasons, or copyright reasons. See exception details below.

* All returned items must be in the same condition as when you purchased it, in original packaging, with all manuals and warranty card.
* Returns should show no signs of wear or abuse otherwise the return will either be refused or subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee (restocking fee rate at Cosmo Music's sole and arbitrary discretion).
* All repair or service costs required to put items into original condition as when purchased will be deducted from the refund.

Below details our return exceptions to our policy; we will gladly refund or exchange because of an error on our part or we have determined that the product is defective.

Product Exceptions
Open packages of reeds, harmonicas, wooden recorders, earbuds, in-ear monitors, ear plugs, DJ stylus and cartridges, opened strings, amplifier tubes, software, print music, books, CDs, videos, and Cosmo Music store gift cards may not be returned.

Protection of Artist's Copyrighted Work
Cosmo Music upholds Canadian and International Copyright Laws to protect the rights of artists that make music. Copyright Law prohibits reproduction by means of photocopying, handwriting, printing, or taking photographic images of copyrighted printed materials. In support of those who create and publish copyrighted works, there are absolutely no refunds or exchanges on printed music. Once print music has been purchased it is considered used and cannot be re-sold.

Make sure to check the return policy on each individual listing as some items may be sold "As-Described" and not eligible for a return.
