Vintage, collectible and above all, playable banjos, banjo-mandolins, ukuleles and banjo-ukuleles. I only look for "players" instruments to buy and I only list them on Reverb after I have repaired if needed, set them up and play them myself. Thanks for the visit.
I've been playing the 5-string since 1972. I saw the Earl Scruggs Revue on our local public station and diverted my limited teenage savings from scuba diving lessons to my first banjo. I fell in love with all things vintage ukulele much later in life. I professionally repaired string instruments full time for 4 years in a Minneapolis shop and another 4 from a home repair shop with music store contracts. I’ve got happy customers throughout the U.S. Canada, the U.K, Ireland, Germany, Belgium, Japan, Australia and I’ve probably missed a few. I currently play in two bands - banjo uke, soprano uke and musical saw in the Hula Peppers and 5-string clawhammer banjo in the trio Poor Benny. These are both based in the Twin Cities of Saint Paul and Minneapolis here in Minnesota, USA. You can find the Hula Peppers on Facebook and Poor Benny on the world wide web.
