Is to provide an environment which encourages our students to discover the enjoyment of music, and the self-esteem derived from the ability to play a musical instrument.
Our History...
A friendly, family-oriented atmosphere greets you when you first visit Connors Music in Keswick. First opened in 1978, the store has offered music lessons and instrument sales to two generations of residents of this community. "It's not uncommon to see the children of former students in the store now, dealing with our kids" say owners Paul and Thea Connors.
All of the family members take an active part in the business operation, and that, says Paul, has added a new energy and enthusiasm. "Even though we've been in Georgina for over 32 years, we talk about our future a lot more than our past".
In addition to instruction, Connors Music is a full-line instrument dealer, offering brand name guitars, drums, keyboards, band instruments and violins, amplifiers, and a large selection of strings and accessories for local musicians. There's also PA system rental, an on-site digital recording studio, and repair shop "We're very fortunate to have so many talented individuals share their love of music here as staff and instructors. With 16 full and part-time employees, five additional instructors and several teaching assistants, someone's bound to have an answer to your question."
Keswick has grown significantly since we first opened in 1978, and we've had the opportunity to grow our products and services with the community!
