I am a mechanical & electrical engineer by trade. However, I’m a musician by hobby for more than 20 years, so using gear, is just a longtime love of mine. I’m also a gearhead junkie, just like you:) being able to experience gear now, that I could not afford when I was younger is a blessing..Since losing most of my family and friends, during the COVID years & having (instruments) gear, gives me time to try to compensate my time left on earth, by staying as creative as possible.

I’ve been planning to go to therapy in the next year and a half, that’s what I keep telling myself and I’ve been saying that for the last five years & counting. Help 😩
If I could only get past the thinking, “If I could only get that one other piece, I would sound more like Dilla, (Jk) 😝…Oh gawd please⛪️✝️, just one last piece is all I need🙏🏽..have mercy on my soul 🙌🏽! I promise that this is IT!!!! I swear !!!! ⛪️🛐✝️Right after the purchase, how do I rationalize to my wife 🎁💐👗🍫😬what I just did …then, lemme flex to my homies what I bought 👺 then a couple of days later, I’m right back on Reverb again, surfing late at light 💡 night …for something that I noticed on YouTube 🤔 & the journey starts all over again ..Help 😩…
Anyways, the struggle is real… 😊 Well, the bright side of things, is that some guys spend money on chicks and cars… been there done that, so now I have time to just buy more gear:) Love you guys🫡 🤞 good luck
Actually, i’ve been buying and selling gear for the last 10+ years.. on various platforms. I also sell other things in electronics world. But I only buy interesting pieces.. I used to think of myself as a collector, but now I’m becoming the opposite. I’m becoming a minimalist…. 🙄That of course changes whenever I notice something I want on Reverb and it starts all over again damn help😩
The only thing that will help is to plan to leave the country and going to a place where there is no Internet..:) or go to buying chicks and cars again :) then there won’t be any money left over to buy gear.. that’s it:) 💡 🤔🧐I think I figured it out:)
