CJay's Music is a full service musical Instrument retail store in central Pennsylvania. CJay's Music is a music store that Opened in the late fall of 2014 by CJay Castello with the ideal in mind that he wanted to build a music store that was run by musicians for musicians. We are a music store that focuses on the needs of musicians from beginner to professional. Every time you shop at CJay's Music, Use us for one of our various services whether it be a rental program, repair or lessons, or shop online with us, rest assured knowing that our main goal is making sure that you, our customer has the best possible shopping experience. Shipping Policy
For All Online Orders within the continental 48 states there will be free shipping provided to buyers. The only time Cjay's Music will not provide free shipping within the continental 48 states is when the item purchased exceeds the free shipping weight of 40 lbs. For all purchases made in Alaska or Hawaii the buyer is responsible for the shipping cost on the total purchase.
For All Shipments Outside Of The United States:
The Buyer is responsible for all shipping and customs cost that is associated with the shipment of the purchase.
For All Returns:
Please be advised that the shipping for all returns that are not damaged, defective or bad stock is the sole responsibility of the buyer. for all returns that are damaged defective or bad stock Cjay's Music will assume the shipping cost for return shipping on defective damaged and bad stock. Once we have received the return we will then investigate and proceed with our return policy for Damaged, Defective and Bad Stock. Please be advised if you ship a Purchase condition item back for return and do not get insurance on the shipment and it arrives damaged the buyer is fully responsible for the item and all items that were in purchase condition will be deemed non returnable.

General Terms
Items must be returned in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.

Stock Status Definitions
Purchase Condition: Stock that is still in sellable condition that was purchased either by mistake (Ex. Misinformation, Misundertaning) or on purpose.
Damaged: Stock that was purchased and in shipping or upon delivery is defective in some way. (Ex Broken Parts and/or Pieces)
Defective: Stock that is in correct Purchase Condition (EX. See above) upon arrival but is not correctly assembled or has an issue with a internal system such as wiring or a internal processor or system
Bad: Stock That is in Unrepairable Condition that arrived damaged and/or Unusable
For all returns to Cjay's Music Please be aware that depending on what condition your item is in will directly affect that set of terms that your return is based upon.
For Returns Of Purchase Condition Items:
For the return of a Purchase condition item (For definition please see above) please have the following information ready and on hand when calling into our location or coming by in person. Please have a valid proof of purchase whether it be a emailed purchase confirmation from our online store or a receipt from our location and the item with you (This criteria valid if your are making a return in store) . You will NOT be granted a return if you are missing either of these items. for all returns that meet the Good criteria there will be a 20% restocking free from the total purchase price of the item and a Store Credit or Exchange issued. The restocking fee is imposed on the discretion of the sales associate working the transaction. There are NO Full Refunds for items that qualify for the good stock criteria.
For all Returns of Damaged, Defective or Bad Stock (For Definition See Above) Please have the following information ready and on hand when calling into our location or coming by in person. Please have a valid proof of purchase whether it be a emailed purchase confirmation from our online store or a receipt from our location and the item with you (This criteria valid if your are making a return in store). Upon inspection of the item a return may or may not be granted. upon the return being granted for your item we will give you the option of a Replacement, Full Purchase Value Credit or a Full Refund. Options given are at the discretion of the sales associate that is working the return transaction. You are then free to decide how to use your Replacement, Full Purchase Value Credit, Or Full Refund.
Please be advised we use the term " May or May Not be Granted" in the Return policy for Returns of Damaged, Defective or Bad Stock because of the following condition. If the sales associate inspects the item that is being returned and either fails to find anything of defective or damaged nature, or finds evidence of tampering and purposeful damage in order to recieve a return you will NOT be granted a return. For all online returns please see the return shipping policy for Returns of Damaged, Defective or Bad Stock.
For All Special Order Item Returns. Please be advised there will be NO refund of a Special Order item of Purchase Condition. In the event of a special order item being delivered damaged or defective we will grant a Replacement for your items however please be advised that there is no Full Refunds for a special order item. Only Replacement or Full Value Credit to be given at the discretion of the sales associate handling the return transaction.
