Warranty as stated by the builder:
Warranty – All Black Arts Toneworks pedals come with a 100% warranty against parts and workmanship. If you have a problem, please email support for info and a return address. We have found that a large portion of problems will involve either bad power supplies, bad cabling, or unrealistic expectations on the user end. Please be certain that you have gone to every effort to verify that all of the potential problems are addressed, and then contact us, [email protected] for further evaluation. We will make sure your pedals work properly. However, we do not cover problems caused by improper power supplies, blunt force trauma or immersion in beer, blood or spit.

*Frost Giant Electronics
Warranty as stated by the builder:
We 100% back the quality of our Frost Giant Electronics pedals and will repair or replace it without cost to you, but if you drop it in your fish tank or spill a bottle of Jack Daniels on your pedalboard, you’re on your own. We cannot guarantee our pedals from defects or malfunctions caused by improper use or abuse.

*Westminster Effects
Warranty as stated by the builder:
Warranty
We’re only human, so we’re bound to screw up a pedal or two, but we also stand by our build quality. Every Westminster Effects pedal carries a limited lifetime warranty, so as long as this company exists, on products sold within the United States. Every Westminster Effects product carries a one-year limited warranty on products sold outside the United States. In regards to Westminster Essentials and cables, those carry a one-year limited warranty.
If a product arrives DOA, we’ll send a label to cover the return shipping cost.
Broken knobs, pots and jacks are not covered, because these aren’t meant to be stomped on via you jumping off your half stack. We will, however, repair these for a reasonable fee. Additionally, any attempted modification to the circuit will void the warranty, as will running any pedal at higher than recommended voltages.

We build our pedals to withstand serious abuse. Lets be honest, no one wants to question the quality of something that they stomp on regularly!
However, the manufacturing process of the components we use isn't always perfect. We are buying parts in bulk, so sometimes there is a dud that works through the testing stage, but not long after. That's why we offer a full 3 Year Warranty on all our products.
"What does this cover?"
Our warranty covers any defective parts with no questions asked. If your pedal isn't working 100% perfectly, let us know and we'll make it right!
"But what about the cost of return shipping? It's not my fault that its not working!"
We will refund your shipping cost after your repairs are made*. We feel that NO customer should be put out due to something that is beyond their control. You as a customer were kind enough to choose our product over a million other competitors, so we try to remind you why you did. (*Customers must send any repairs back by the method that we ask as we will NOT cover any costs over the amount that we pre-arrange.)
"What doesn't this cover?"
If you for example, run over your pedal with your tour van, spill beer on it at a gig, drop it off the empire state building, let your girlfriend set her hot curling iron on it, your toddler drops it in the toilet, use it as a jack stand while changing a tire, then you will have to pay for any repairs and shipping costs.
This also includes plugging in power supplies you "found in a drawer and it said 9 volts" so you put it in and it went fizzle. We have preventative parts that keep the entire pedal from being ruined, but it will still require repairs. The $10-20 for a cheap power supply will pay for itself if you have to spend the $16 to ship it back to us because you couldn't wait! We want you to start enjoying your pedal as soon as possible :)
Think of it like a cell phone that you got from a service provider that wasn't dreadful. If it's your fault, it's not covered. If its our fault, it is and we'll make it right!
Update to International Warranty** (Oct.15/2015)
In order to continue shipping internationally we have had to revise our policy slightly. The 3 Year Warranty still applies, however we can only reimburse the return shipping within the first 60 days. We will still ship the repaired pedal back at no charge, but the customer will be responsible for returning the pedal to us. Unfortunately this is the best we can do in order to continue to provide our products globally. Thank you for your understanding.

Refund policy
All sales are final.
Why? Due to the cost of being a small company, thisheavyearth does not accept refunds except for where product failure has occurred due to manufacturing reasons. This may change in the future as I experience growth but at this time I am sorry but you're stuck with your late night drunken purchase. That buyer's remorse will wear off after a few hours of riffing on that new product.
For international orders returned to THE because they are not picked up from customs. Original shipping costs are non-refundable. Additionally, there will either be a 35% restock fee or they can be shipped again upon new invoice for shipping costs.

Everything I make has a LIFETIME warranty. Just hit me and we'll get it worked out. Just please be patient on repair times as I'm a one man band. Feel free to pester me, but please don't threaten to drag me if things aren't moving as fast as you want them to. I always make good, even it might take a bit longer to make it good.
REPAIRS:
If you end up using a wrong power supply or spill beer, etc. or even bought it used and it doesn't work, I will ALWAYS fix it for no charge. Just be cool about it and maybe throw in a few bucks for return shipping, or maybe some cool band merch or an old action figure or something and I'll take care of it. I'd much rather have it back on your board than in a box in your closet. Again like above, feel free to pester me, but please don't threaten to drag me if things aren't moving as fast as you want them to. I always make good, even it might take a bit longer to make it good.
