AMP Guitars was established in June 2013.
It was opened by an active musician for the musician, with over 20 years experience and personal interest in rare, collectable, player grade, odd ball guitars from Fender to Tiesco.
All our stock is secondhand vintage. Custom shop and reissue guitars specialising in American guitars.
We stock amplifiers, mainly valve and as all our stock, it changes around quickly.
If effects are your thing we also have a wide variety of old and modern noise boxes.
We also source items for customers so if we don't have what you want I can find it with one of our many private dealers and other outlets that we deal with.
Although we are located in Macclesfield, Cheshire, we ship out internationally so if you can't come to us, we'll come to you.
We are open Monday to Saturday 10am - 4pm and can be available for appointments on Sunday with prior arrangement.
We'll answer any questions about any particular item in stock and all our guitars, amps and effects are serviced, checked over, restrung, re-bias, switch cleaned, set up and ready to go. Should a guitar not be set up to your liking....as it is very personal...we can do that for you at point of purchase.
Some of our customers have included, New Order, Midge Ure, Noddy Holder, Glen Tilbrook, Mike Peters of the Alarm, Billy Duffy and Johnny Marr to name a few and not forgetting your good selves.
