Welcome to Acme Guitars!
We are a Brick and Mortar shop located in St. Louis MO. We've been in this location for 25 years, but have been in the vintage business for over 40 years, including many years operating the Music City Guitar Show in Nashville. Needless to say, we love old amps and guitars! Our hours are Tuesday through Friday noon to six, Saturdays noon to five, so feel free to drop in to see what we have to offer.
We are a full service shop offering new, used, and vintage gear of all stripes along with accessories and many hard to find and rare items from the golden era of guitars.
Along with all of this, we are a full repair shop that can handle anything from a setup to complete restorations. The experience we have in the field of vintage and collectible guitars allows us to also be able to provide fair and accurate appraisals of single pieces or entire collections. Our amp shop services every amp we sell, doing all necessary work to bring them back into factory spec before they go out the door. We also offer speaker reconing services.
Always on the hunt for the next piece, we're constantly buying and selling, all while trying to pass savings on to the customer and to reach deals that make all parties involved go away happy.

I will ship with tracking to the listed regions. To negotiate shipping rates to other locations, please send me a message. Buyer responsible for all shipping on returns. As we are closed Sunday and Monday, orders placed Friday evening through Tuesday morning ship on Tuesday afternoon. More often than not guitars and amps ship in an Acme-designed double wall box that is virtually indestructible. Paper goods ship in their sheet protectors with cardboard in bubble mailers to reduce the risk of damage or bending.
