Shipping Policy

Shipping:

We typically ship worldwide via UPS. As soon as your item ships, Reverb will send you a notification of shipping with a tracking #. There is no courier pickup on weekends here.

**We are not able to ship to some Countries and areas of the world.
*** Also, shipping to some more remote areas will exceed our listed shipping cost by too much to accommodate. In this case, a refund will be processed.

Some more detailed notes about shipping:

- For US customers, typically duties and tariffs do not apply to any goods that are Made in the USA. Also, the Customs codes for the bulk of what we sell are exempt from Tariff altogether under CUSMA/USMCA.

- We are not responsible for any duties, taxes or brokerage charges for shipments anywhere outside of Canada. Customs rules vary all over the world. It is your sole responsibility to be aware of any issues there might be with importation of your purchase. If you refuse a package for any reason, any refund will be minus any charges incurred to retrieve said item (assuming that the item actually arrives back into our custody).

- Whenever possible AAYSR will upgrade shipping service levels from Post to DHL or UPS couriers to ensure a faster/safer receipt of your order. If Shipping via Canada Post is for some reason preferred, please let us know and we will not upgrade shipping on your order. The shipping cost may be higher for Postal service and that will be passed along to you. Also, We do not always drop off Postal packages on a daily basis, whereas UPS and DHL are picking up here every weekday.

- If for some reason, your area is not a safe drop-zone, please make us aware of this and we can specify that a signature be required for release of the package.

-Please note in rare cases, shipping for some countries may be higher than the shipping options listed in the checkout section. In this case, we will contact you directly to inform you of the correct shipping cost.

- If the item you are buying is being bought as a "collectable" or "keepsake" rather than as a tool to make rad music and you are overly concerned about the item's outer packaging remaining pristine, please let us know. We always pack items safely (within secondary cardboard boxes) here but we also try to have a reasonable carbon footprint by using the smallest possible outer packaging that is sufficient to protect the goods. As such, on occasion the inner packaging of the item might see some slght crushing or dinting during shipping. This is usually not a big deal as the inner box is actually meant to protect the item, but we are aware that some folks are concerned with maintaining pristine packaging and do not entirely understand that the packaging's purpose is to protect what is inside. We can certainly pack things in larger outer packaging if you wish. This will usually incur an extra shipping amount. Also, many of the items we sell are handmade boutique items. It is not uncommon for there to be minor cosmetic issues in the paint work/graphics. If this is an issue for you, pls feel free to request an in-hand viewing of the product via video chat before purchasing.

- AAYSR takes the environment pretty seriously. As a result, a portion of our packaging and packing materials are recycled or Re-used. Hence, you will sometimes receive your Guitar pedal in an outer box that formerly held various pharmaceutical, grocery or "personal" hygiene products. Hopefully, this will not cause any of you undue stress when your neighbours notice the package sitting on your front stoop :) On a positive note, we find these packages rarely go missing from your front stoop or mailbox.

- In the rare event that your package does not arrive, please let us know ASAP and we will initiate an investigation/claim with the respective carrier and pursue an insurance claim. Your co-operation will likely be required during the investigation/claim period. When the claim is closed, you can opt for a refund or we can re-ship the item(s).

- Couriers do not pickup on weekends here. Next day shipping does not include weekends typcially.

- Please note that some instruments may require a CITES permit for cross-border shipping, which can only be acquired once an instrument’s sale has been completed. The process of acquiring this permit can take several weeks to complete, and the instrument’s shipment will be delayed as a result.

- Any and All returns must have an authorized R.A. # and must be returned as per our specific instructions

- Items (including packaging) returned in damaged or used condition are subject to suitable and reasonable restocking fees (TBD).

- Please note: any refunded amount will be the total original purchase price minus "actual" shipping costs (and customs charges if applicable).

- Please note: with respect to packages sent to international destinations, if an item shows up with any warranty issue, it is required that you deal with the manufacturer that offers the warranty directly. This may involve you having to ship the item to the manufacturer at your cost.

*** We must re-iterate here that we are not responsible for duties, tariffs or taxes etc. that may be levied upon you by your respective governments. If your country seizes an item and/or requires that you pay duties, tariffs or taxes on an item, we are not responsible for those costs. If an item is seized or you choose to not pay those fees and an item is returned here as a result, the cost to return the item including carriage costs and any brokerage costs in addition to the original shipping cost will be removed from the amount of your refund.
