I have owned over 300 guitars during the past 35 years and pride myself in keeping them in great condition. At first it was the typical "guitar closet (or under the beds..." with about 17-20 guitars in the rotation. If a guitar stayed in the closet, it was sold for a different guitar. I realized that most guitars when sold online by individuals are not sold at a net profit after fees and other expenses. Breakeven is generally the best you will get. If I lose money on a guitar, I have always looked at it as a "rental fee", for the privildege of owing it. That is not to say that I have not profited on the sale of some guitars, as I always look for bargains that on resale, I hopefully will not lose money.

When we moved to Idaho, five years ago, I mounted all my guitars on two studio walls in temperature controlled enviornments. My collection at it's peak here was at 28..... my walls were full.

I retired this past year and have decided to sell most of my guitars over the next few years. I must admit, it is a hard habit to break, but mainly playing for my own pleasure these days, as my band days ended shortly after COVID hit. I am still buying on occasion, but last year my net sales were 9 guitars.

I am ready to turn my treasures over to other players who will hopefully enjoy the guitars as much as I enjoyed owning them. I try to be fair on the selling prices of my guitars.

Please check my feedback on Reverb and e-Bay (electguitar) going back over 25 years. All my buyers are happy and have given me great feedback. I find that very satisying.
