So the OMs had to be compelling, capable of withstanding a good thrashing. Crashes blend together into set perfectly, shimmering into life quickly when hit, initial brightness soon gives way to more involved mix of frequencies, centred around low, dark notes while trashiness present. Rides are incredibly articulate capable of reproducing flurries of notes fluently, stick sound is dry and metallic, yet warm, and sits on a cushion of wash.
