Gretsch 6129 Silver Jet 1958 - 1961

Featured Listing

This model marked the final iteration of the single cut Silver Jet. DeArmond single coils were replaced with Filter'Tron humbuckers, and the "humpback" inlays were replaced with "thumbnail" inlays. One knob was dropped from the lower bout, and a second "tone" switch was added. A zero fret was also added around 1959. Later in 1961, the Silver Jet would be updated to a double cutaway design.
