Overview

The double cutaway version of the Silver Jet swapped the Bigsby vibrato for a Burns unit, and added a standby switch to the controls. By the end of 1963, the "Silver Jet" name was retired, and the model was folded into the Duo Jet model's sparkle finishes.

The Silver Jet was produced alongside the Jet Firebird and Duo Jet models, and feature identical specifications aside from color.
