Overview
ESP LTD’s D-6 is an extended range 6-string bass with a subtle appearance and dent-friendly build. The D Series is known for neck-thru bodies, which yield great sustain and tone. This bass, made of a merbau body and a U-shaped 5-piece neck made of mahogany and maple, has 24 extra jumbo frets, ESP’s SB-6 pickups, and an active 3-band ABE-3 EQ. This means it can easily cover tonalities of genres as disparate as metal, jazz, punk, latin, and more.
