About this listing
The Sequential Prophet X combines both sampling and synthesis to deliver a huge variety of acoustic and electronic instruments and effects—all of them ready to be manipulated, stacked, stretched and layered as far as your imagination can take them. Prophet X utilizes a powerful sound engine to drive 2 sample-based instruments and a pair of high-resolution digital oscillators with waveshape modulation through stereo analog filters, allowing you to create limitless, monstrous/glorious sounds. The bi-timbral, 16-voice engine runs 2 sample and 2 digital oscillators through a stereo pair of 24 dB/octave resonant low-pass filters. It comes with 150 GB of 16-bit, 48kHz samples by 8Dio (this monster sample library comes packed with acoustic and electronic instruments, along with boatloads of cinematic and ambient effects), while modulation is supplied by 4 LFOs, 4 five-stage envelopes and a mod matrix. Polyphonic step-sequencing is also supported, offering 64 steps and up to 6 notes per step.Beyond all this, you have loop manipulation, sample stretching, and other powerful tools to sculpt your samples. Top it off with a premium 5-octave aftertouch-enabled keyboard, onboard storage, dual effects engines, and more. The Sequential Prophet X is one beastly synthesizer worthy of the legendary Prophet lineage.FeaturesBi-timbral, 8-voice stereo (16-voice mono) synthesizer61 full-size, semi-weighted keys w/ aftertouch and velocity sensitivityCombines high-fidelity stereo samples with powerful synthesis150GB sample library created by 8Dio2 simultaneous 16-bit, 48kHz sample-based instruments64-step polyphonic sequencer512 factory presets, 512 user presets50GB of internal storageLoop manipulation and sample stretching2 high-res digital oscillators with waveshape modulationStereo analog filters4 envelope generators, 4 LFOsModulation matrixEffects include Delay, Reverb, Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Distortion, Modulation3 OLED displays, USB support, and onboard power supply38.5”W x 4.2”H x 13.6”D24 lbs.
