While browsing Reverb SYNC for awesome new plugins, you may notice that there are often multiple file formats you can choose to download. Depending on which digital audio workstation (DAW) you use, the plugin may or may not be compatible with your system. Some are formatted specifically for PC like Direct X, while others, such as Audio Units, work only on Macs. This chart breaks down plugin compatibility by each DAW’s most recent release. For older versions of any particular DAW, we recommend referring to the manufacturer’s website. For a comprehensive guide to recording software, check out our support article.
