A video has been making the rounds on the internet this week featuring a drummer playing along to the Led Zeppelin classic "Good Times Bad Times." While Bonham cover videos aren't exactly a rare commodity, it's not every day that you see one of his landmark grooves nailed so thoroughly by an 8-year-old.
In this three minute video, Japanese prodigy Yoyoka Soma plays with a style and energy that's 100 percent Bonzo. A drummer since the age of two, Soma plays regularly as part of a band with the rest of her family, and in the video's description explains, "As a drummer, I enjoy being groove, tones and try to support vocalists carefully. My dream is to be the best drummer in the world."
This particular video was made as a submission for the Hit Like A Girl drumming contest, which apparently Soma did not end up winning. As you can see in the video above, though, she is clearly having a blast while playing, which is, of course, the most important prize of all.
