Video: The Ideal Jazzmaster & Jaguar Combo | Funky Vintage

What's one of the wildest things ever found in an old, abandoned barn? Well, that would have to be this early '60s Jazzmaster we had a chance to check out at Rock N Roll Vintage in Chicago.

Abandoned in an old barn in Wisconsin were a pile of guitars, with this highly sought-after gem resting in a rotted-out case at the bottom. At the time it was discovered, the guitar had already received a crude black paint job, so Rock N Roll Vintage sent it to Pat at Coop Guitars to do a proper galaxy black refinish.

While at the shop, Joe Shadid also spotted an all-original 1965 Jaguar. This guitar has been played hard throughout its life and features a ton of broken in character to prove it. However, as you can see and hear in the video above, it's still a beautiful player and a super cool find.
