Video: Take a Dip in Fuzzrocious' Electric Ocean

The always interesting pedal brand Fuzzrocious is back with the special release of another new pedal called the Electric Ocean.

This exciting little stompbox is actually a combination fuzz-phaser pedal that was inspired by the mighty Roland Jet Phaser. As Andy explains above, the new Electric Ocean is by no means a clone of that vintage unit, but rather seeks to give players a similar ability to effect their signal with both fuzz and phaser at the push of a single button.

At the pedal's heart is a low-noise, six-stage OTA-based phaser with a vocal-like sweep that can hold its own in the absence of the integrated silicon fuzz circuit—which is switched on/off via a toggle at the top of the pedal. Next to that top toggle, you'll find an "effect order" switch, which will allow you to put phaser either before or after the fuzz for different flavors of dynamic blends.

The pedal's secondary footswitch will allow you to adjust speed, and if you open the pedal enclosure, you can also adjust the phaser's resonance and feedback settings. As with Fuzzrocious' other pedal offerings, the Electric Ocean circuit is fully analog and handmade, one at a time.

Reverb users are able to snag the exclusive "Acid Etched" variant of the Electric Ocean pedal enclosure while they last, but do note that supplies are very limited! Click the "shop now" buttons above to grab your own Fuzzrocious Electric Ocean today.
