Video: Ryley Walker on Stereo Imaging an Acoustic Guitar

Ryley Walker occupies a certain space among listeners, grabbing the attention of guitar players with his technique and layering while allowing non-musicians to latch onto his mellow singing and atmospheric songwriting.

Producing three albums in the the last three years, he's quickly migrated from the revivalist camp to his own territory. Ryley's latest LP, Golden Sings That Have Been Sung, is a marker of that move, demonstrating flashes of songwriting that would have been out of place on his previous efforts.

His live rig has evolved as well, illustrated by the video above and the diagram below. Click on any part of the diagram to find the gear on Reverb. Stick around after the video to see his uncut performance of "The Halfwit in Me." Check out Ryley's website for more of his music and information about upcoming shows.
