Nikki Lane has been making waves in American country music since her debut record, Walk of Shame, was released by Iamsound Records in 2011.
Her follow–up, All or Nothin', was released a few years later, produced by Dan Auerbach and recorded in his studio for free after the two met by chance at a flea market. The album was well–received and even earned Nikki an Americana Music Association nomination for Emerging Artist of the Year in 2015.
Nikki Lane released her third album, Highway Queen, in February of this year and has been touring in support of its release. During her Chicago stop, Nikki and Jonathan Tyler had a chance to drop by the studio and play us a few tunes.
