While not the first Eric Johnson signature model from Fender, the new Thinline Stratocaster is the first of its kind. The latest signature model is the first-ever semi-hollowbody Strat that still maintains the guitar's classic contours.
The guitar was made in close collaboration with Johnson, whose first Signature Strat was one of the company's most popular artist models. The new Thinline Strat comes with a quartersawn maple neck and a standard Fender tremolo arm. The choice of finish is kept to just vintage white or 2-color sunburst.
