Not too long ago, we here at Reverb partnered with Guitars for Vets for our "Tuners for Good" promotion. All of the proceeds from each tuner we sold were donated to the organization, which is dedicated to helping veterans cope with injuries and PTSD through music.
Our campaign was very successful, raising $10,000 in 48 hours. But, more importantly, we learned a lot about the scope of this organization and about how impactful it really is.
To celebrate Veterans Day and bring more awareness to what the group is doing, we stopped by the Edward Hines Jr. VA Hospital to watch their monthly lesson. We also sat down with a few veterans from the program to hear what Guitars for Vets has meant to them.
