Rancid’s Branden Steineckert Launches Official Reverb Shop

From the beginning with The Used to pounding drums on Let the Dominoes Fall, many tours around the world and producing bands, Branden Steineckert has spent decades surrounded by gear that’s seen countless miles, sessions, and stages.

Today, the longtime Rancid drummer and former member of The Used is opening the doors to his Official Reverb Shop, giving fans and musicians alike the chance to own pieces of his personal collection.

The shop features instruments, amps, drums, and studio gear from Steineckert’s home recording space, Unknown Studios—the same room where Rancid wrote and demoed Let the Dominoes Fall, and where Branden has tracked and produced for friends and collaborators across punk, ska, and alternative rock.

Many items carry their own slice of punk history: custom SJC and OCDP drum kits used on tour and recording with Rancid and The Used, even some Les Pauls, a Telecaster and Mesa cab among more from the writing of Rancid songs, and even the rare skateboard Branden rode in The Used’s "Taste of Ink" video.

Also up for grabs are studio staples like DigiDesign interfaces, Apogee and Lavry converters, and True Systems mic pres, alongside tour-worn cases, stage-used mic stands, and limited band merch from The Used.

Whether you’re after a custom maple kick drum that once backed up punk’s fiercest choruses, or a pedal still in its box from the shelves of Unknown Studios, this shop is stacked with history you can plug in and play.

The shop is live now—head to Branden Steineckert’s Official Reverb Shop to claim your piece of punk rock history before it’s gone.
