Mike Campbell to Sell Heartbreakers–Signed Duesenberg Guitars for Charity

As one of the founding Heartbreakers of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Mike Campbell's passion for music runs deep. Through his work with the Tazzy Fund, the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Famer has demonstrated an equal passion for helping dogs in need.

Campbell has been working with German–based guitar brand Duesenberg for years now, and the pair has found a way to marry Campbell's love of music and animals with their most recent collaboration.

In celebration of the Heartbreakers' 40th Anniversary Tour, Duesenberg has built four limited edition Campbell signatures in a new green finish that will be signed by the whole band at the end of their current run of shows.

Once signed, the guitars will be sold with all proceeds going to the Tazzy Animal Rescue Fund — a non–profit rescue that Campbell and his wife have been involved with for the past eight years.

Watch the video above for Mike's overview of his signature model and an explanation of the great work that the Tazzy Fund does. And if you're interested in grabbing one of these guitars, you can contact [email protected]. Tell them Reverb sent you.
