Gallery: A Look at the Gear of Winter NAMM 2018

This weekend's NAMM show was an exciting event, with legacy companies like Fender releasing a line of "Parallel Universe" designs, while boutique luthiers showcased superb, hand-built guitars. New pedals like Empress Effects' Zoia and Chase Bliss Audio's Thermae are set to conjure strange new sounds in the near future, while Retro Instruments' Retro Revolver will bring Abbey Road's legendary compression to contemporary records.

Meanwhile, Ludwig has produced the budget-friendly NeuSonic drum kit, while A&F Drum Co. reached new pinnacles of vintage class with its Nickel Over Brass Kit.
